How would it not let you?

If it didn't accept the programming after pressing "r" or when you entered the data after setting up a manual recording then perhaps it was blocked or just had corrupted EPG data which has been known to block recordings.

To record a radio station you have to set up a manual recording. Press services and then 6.

    Not sure why not.

Enter the manual record menu or press "R" while the radio channel you want is on screen.
Put in the EPG number (if not present), select the day and then enter start/stop times then ADD the recording. If you look in the Planner it will then be there:)
