Hi hope this is in the right place.
I'm looking at putting a 50 inch plasma on a solid wall.
Iv had a look around and can pick one up fairly cheap.
My questions are when the bracket is on the wall how does the plasma secure to it?
I have noticed on the back there are bolt holes do I need to purchase some bolts seperate or do they come with the brackets normally?
Also what ways are there to hide the wires? Without ripping out the plaster.

I don't know much about this thing so wanted to make sure
    Thanks Kate x

There's typically 2 metal strips that screw into the back of the tv, then there is a part that you attach to the wall. The tv will either hang or slide onto the wall fixture.
If in doubt get someone in to do the job. Might cost a little but it means the tv won't fall down.
If you look at John Lewis there's a very good wall cable tidy. Item number 89825012. Would link to it but Im on my phone.

I hung my 65inch by securing the bracket onto the wall using 4 off m8 anchor bolts ( requires a 14mm hole for each one).
Anchor bolts can be bought at b&q

    http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/hardware...cting-Rawlbolt-44353-M8-9281486?skuId=9291186

Once the bracket is on the wall the arms are screwed into the back of the tv usually with bolts and spacers provided ( usually m8 bolts )
Then offer tv onto bracket to finish

    thanks red devil.

Looking through my TVs Manual it said the tv needs to be 100mm from the wall erm will most brackets be at least that?
    I don't need a fire lol

65 inch plasma wow bet that amazing with films.

Don't worry it will be fine
You can't really make it out but there is some white trunking hidden behind the speaker containing all the wires to tv

The strip comes with a sticky back side so you just stick around the perimeter of the tv. A 5m strip goes right around a 65 inch tv with some to spare

But if I have sky sports on for half an hour the logos are still there for days after its really annoying
Only had the tv for a while.
insanity said to take it back think I might!

I think it's discontinued now but it is one of these:

    Alphason ABR1100-B TV Stands

I'm actually waiting on one I designed to be made for me by a local joiner

Similar to the one I found.
So your going with a light oak finish, that will look neat.
    Have you got your quote?
