Can anyone tell me how to use Nero 6 to burn to DVD with an image of my C drive just in case things go wrong so I can reformat it and boot the DVD so it copy’s back to the C drive as though nothing wrong.
I take it this would be a bootable disk/DVD?

Can't be done in Nero on a normal single boot system, as you are trying to write to a disc using files that are changing during the process.

Making a bootable CD is a real pain.

Maybe Norton Ghost or similar can do it, but I strongly recommend HyperOS 2003. With this you dont use C: as a live system, except to return to for making bakups / restores to other partitions, and the whole system can then be burned to a DataDVD by copying a single file.
