I'dlike to get my Sky + box upgraded from 80Mb to 120Mb. What is the easiest way to get this done?
Uh! Use the same way you had it upgraded from 40MB to 80MB. Alternatively, just do it yourself. It's as easy as pie. Follow the guide here
Steve, just noticed you are in cardiff. If you want someone to do it I'll be happy to oblige so long as you provide the new HDD. No charge. just a service for a fellow HC'er. I'm in Llantrisant so lmk via PM.
My mistake it's a 40Mb drive I have not 80. How much would it cost for either a 80Mb or 120Mb drive?
You can pick up 120GB drives for as little as£65 but I wuld go with one around the £80-£85 mark like the Maxtor FDB drives.
If you ever consider taking this up part time,PM me i would be intrested in up grading my sky+,even add a bit of beer money for you as well.
Be more than delighted to do it for you. No monies required. If you get the box to me and the HDD I'll upgrade, test and return. Just happy to help out.
