i have been putting some film on a dvd-rw and now i want to get rid of them,i tried some program from pinnacle it formatted the disk and then i used neo dvd standard to put a new film on the dvd and the drive wont recognise the disk.Is there a good formatting program out there or is it already in winxp.

I am using datawrite dvdrw's and have no probs watchin a film

Get yourself Nero or Roxio 6 both will format your dvd-rw.
Datawrite dvd-rw are cheap but ive got a few which are now unreadable & i'm getting bad media messages these now wont format & trying to find a solution myself.
Datawrite classic dvd-r 4x seem ok & ive had no coasters.
