Question How do you connect sky to wireless internet ?

Hello all,

Quick question. I have a TV, Bluray, Soundbar which all have integrated Wi-fi.

My wireless router is on the other side of the room where it is plugged into the phone socket.

My Sky+ HD box is not one of the new ones that has wi-fi integrated.

Question - what options do I have in order to be able to connect the sky box to the internet?

I wondered whether i could connect (via ethernet etc) the skybox to one of the other devices that does have integrated wi-fi and somehow piggy back the internet connection somehow ?

Or, I have heard that you can buy a seperate wireless receiver/sender which I can connect to the sky box, which then in turn sends signals to the wireless router (think they are about £30)

Any advice greatly received.

Thanks,
Richard

Sky will supply you with a wireless adaptor which plugs into the USB socket on the rear of the Sky+HD box, you may even get one for free depending on what Sky subscription you have.
