Hi, is it possible to connect an active subwoofer to a 2 channel amp? If possible, how do you do it? I thought the sub might add bass for my Pop and R&B music.

Thanks.

There's a couple of ways either:

Take a phono lead from pre-out on the amp and connect to sub's phono in.

or

Most subs have speaker terminals on them(all 4 subs in my house do)so first connect sub input terminals to amp speaker terminals with speaker wire(left & right chanels) then connect your speakers to the sub's speaker output terminals.

Use a subwoofer (RCA phono) cable such as this from your Denon pre-out subwoofer connection to one of the line level inputs on the sub (don't think it makes any difference which one you use, I use left)
