From what I've read, calibrating a TV all need a calibration disc? And disc has to go into a dvd player or bluray player.
I just have a laptop. Which I don't see any mention of in calibrating a TV guides.
I do have a colorimeter (Spyder 3 pro) and know how to calibrate a pc monitor. But I'm very confused about calibrating a TV, probably because I haven't had a TV for years.
If I mostly just play movies and stuff on the computer to the TV and don't actually watch much TV. Though I may get a PS4 at some point... Should I still bother calibrating it, or having a different color profile on my laptop will be fine?
