How do photos display for you on AVF?

Been meaning to ask this for a while but how do photos posted on AVF appear on folks' screens? I find that in portrait the image does not fit the screen and I have to scroll up and down to see the whole image. Is this the same for everyone or is it because I'm using a small (15") laptop screen?

Only kidding...

Tried on my PC laptop as well now and I get the same issue. Take the AVF London street photography walkaround thread this is how the portrait images show. It's not quite as bad on the Mac, but you get the idea. I have to scroll down to see the other half of the pic.

As others have said it's to do with your screen resolution - specifically the number of horizontal lines you have on the monitor.
My desktop monitor is 1920x1080 and doesn't quite get all that image in in one go.
It's worse on my laptop which is only 1366x768

You can steal back some screen space by going into your AVF settings and changing the display options for the top navigation.

Thanks. My screen is 1680 x 1050 and so if DJ's shows fine at 1440 x 900 I'd expect mine to

Thanks for putting me onto the settings thing, that banner being fixed at the top's annoyed me since day one, and now it's gone. Plus the menus no longer drop down when i hover over them :clap::clap:
