How do i trace a private number from a landline but i could do it from a mobile.
Only some smart arse :censored: withelding his number has been constantly phoning us up tonight and i wanna get his address and go round his house.
Having a laugh with his mates i think.
So are there any ways of doing it other than getting BT or the police involved.
    A code maybe?

I already know *hash30hash but that never works on a mobile or landline.
    Any support would be great.
    Cheers fellas.

You can't. I misunderstood your question (!). Barely read it and thought you wanted an address from a phone number, not that I am encouraging vigilante justice etc. BT have a special unit for these kinds of calls. Search for that. I've read that they are very helpful in conjunction with the police.

Paying £9 per quarter for BT's "anonymous caller reject" is worth every penny, in my opinion.

Also takes care of the less scrupulous direct sales companies that don't subscribe to the TPS.
