How do I make the borders smaller on Microsoft Word

I scanned a document and on word if I print it out the header will be about 4 inches away from the top of the paper. Same for the sides and the footer. How do I change it so the I can get the words to fit near to the edges of the paper.

On Word 2003, go to File, Page Setup. You should be able to adjust the margins there.

Right mouse click the scanned "Picture of words" and select click on format picture, select layout, select square and horizontal left click OK. Now you can position the document to fill the page.
