is there a small app or mod for the xcard so i can get some more useful 50hz modes out of the xcard. i have a JVC 32d40 which can display upto 1125i, but i find the 1080i mode seems to produce faint ripples, only visible really when the screen goes dark. im guessing this is due to the 60hz refresh?

i tried the 1080i 50hz and ended up with about a quarter of the picture off the right hand side of the screen :(. so i tried creating a 1125i mode as my JVC supports this also, same problem tho. what parameters should i try tweaking?

p.s. 1080i 59.94hz works fine. dvd used was starwars episode2 r2 pal

Does your JVC support 50hz at that resolution?

These settings are taken from powerstrip. So fire it up and tell it the res and refresh rate you want to use and the other settings will be produced. I can't remember how those numbers relate to the xcard registry string though. You'll just have to fiddle I guess.
