Ok so dumb ? , how do I select 1280x720, it doesnt let me slide to that figure just jumps past it.
    Nvidia FX5900

Downloaded powerstrip but cant get it to recognise settings.
I've bought a TV/monitor 16:9 so trying to get it right.
Isnt there a 16:9 option in windows somewhere ?

    Help

Annoying isn't it :) .. you need to poke around:

    1) Go to the Monitor tab of the Advanced Display Properties and un-set the "Hide modes monitor doesn't support"
    2) Go to the Adaptor tab and click "List All Modes", you should now see the new resolution set by Powerstrip and be able to select it.

Alternatively, NVidia drivers 67.03 upwards (possibly earlier, can't remember now) have a built-in 1280x720 setting, certainly 67.03 added a custom resolution feature that makes Powerstrip redundant for simple resolution/refresh changes.
