how do i extend my lamp life?

    i have brightness on 35%
    i have it on eco mode
    i never turn on the projector more than 4 hours a day
    my room is cool
    i clean the lens often

    i always let it cool for atleast 1 hour before turning it on again





    anything else i should do to extend the bulb life?


    is that suffecient to keep my bulb for 3000 hours? considering its a 2000 hour bulb

    If it's a 2000 hour bulb hen it will only last 2000 hours, there is a built in timer that will eventually shut the projector down untill the bulb gets changed.

    It does sound as though you are doing everything right to make it see out the 2000 hours.

    it says it can last up to 3000 hours if i use it in the right way

    you can reset the bulb timer on my projector

    The guide in the faq recommends cleaning the filters once a month. Probably worth doing.

    If only all bulbs were created equal eh.
    TBH one of my biggest concerns before plunging into the world of Projectors was premature bulb failure. Now I have just come to accept that it is something of a lottery and that in reality the best I can hope for is that the bulb doesn't fail mid film/footie as that would compound the misery.
