Standard Member

I have a samsung TV 2 HDMI ports and Samsung surround sound system with xbox and Sky +

xbox HDMI to TV
xbox optical to Samsung Surround Sound

Samsung Surround Sound HDMI to TV

All above is working fine, but

Sky + has no HDMI port but got optical port and is not working through surround sound

at moment I have sky scart to TV and this is only working through volume on TV.

Please help, I have bought another HDMI cable and HDMI switch as PC world told all HDMI should go through TV:mad: everything had to

I have one optical input on my Sony 5.1 cinema kit, so got a 3-way optical switcher from Maplins. It has to be switched by hand between my PC, 360 and PS2 - but does a great job with no affect on quality or latency (as its digital).

Would that do the job?
