Hi All.. Yet another newbie needing help from you knowledgeable people..

I have just moved home & had Sky+ installed, I can't find the the piece of paper with how to re-connect my system... So can anybody help :lease:

    I have:
    Sony TV - KV36FS70/U (3 scart sockets)
    Sky+
    Panasonic VCR (S-video equipped)
    Sony Home Cinema - DAV-S800
    IXOS leads - 2 x scart to S video / 2 x scart to scart
+ 1 additional lead (I think this is audio, 1 red, 1 white plug each end)

How do I connect every thing up ??

    Thanks
    JDM

Hook up the Sky+'s audio digital output using a TOSLINK cable to the Sony Dav's matching input. This will give you 5.1 for those sky channels that support it, a cheap £5/£10 optical lead is all you need.

Hook up the analog audio inputs from the Sky+ box to the Sony Dav, this will give you sound from both the TV and the Video.

Plug in the video into the VCR input on the Sky+ box, and plug the Sky+'s TV scart output into the TVs first scart socket. Make sure the Sky+ box is set to output RGB via the setup menu on the Sky+ box.

Plug in Sony Dav to the TVs second scart socket using one of the s-video cables.

    Job done.
