I'd check out either Mark Grant's or Elliot's (X3ELS) DIY coaxial cables, both outperformed my Chord Prodac Silver Plus and are about a quarter of the price of the Kimber DV75 and twice the length.;)

In my experience the Kimber will definitely outperform the QED,but the figures may come out very similar.....one advantage of Russ Andrew's company is the trial time allowed on Kimber products.....trial and return if not satisfied www.russandrews.com

The published figures give little impression of how much jitter etc may be introduced by a particular cable/transport interface and may be why some cables sounds noticeably better than other seemingly equivalent ones.

ask them to prove they use 75 ohm CI plugs and see what they say.

Go with Elliot / Mark (not seen this one myself but he appears to also be doing it all right.)

I have the QED nad Kimber here, both are okay but as Jase says they are significantly bettered by cheaper and longer cables.

Before we get into spending a lot of your money on an interconnect, what exactly are you connecting to what.
