The stuff I use on all my screens (CRT / LCD etc.) is IXOS smear free spray gel (PCWorld for about a fiver) to clean the screen initially if it's got fingermarked.

Then - even though it's supposed to be smear free it isn't so then I use a dampened sponge to wipe the screen over and then soft kitchen roll to buff up the screen.

I use a a micro cloth, can't recall the actuall name of it but its blue and sold in Wilko's cost around £2.99 and is excellent for all dusting especially glass. better after its been washed though as when new leave blue fluff for the first few uses when dry.

BAD BAD idea. Common kitchen roll will leave fine scratches and swirls on your screen.

The pro's choice is AF Screen-Clene Safe Clens. Or Sapona screen clean as a close second. You must use a lint free cloth/wipe.

Yes lens cleaning cloth will be fine.

Those Plasma screen bottles at £20 are a complete rip off. Go for AF Screen Clene Safe Clens, a can of 250ml will be under a £5. It's what manufacturers will use anyway.
