Yesterday I was able to play DTS DVDs in DTS through my Audigy 2 sound card as well as normal DD5.1.

Today I installed the MCE DVD Writer plug-in and now I can only play the DVD in Dolby PLIIx.

I assume it'ss the new software that has somehow screwed up the audio codecs. Is there a utility similar to DECCHECK that will allow me to chose the default audio codec?

    Thanks

    Dave

    I hate PCs

I haven't touched anything (been listening to a Rugby game).

Put another DVD in (Neil Young) and it's coming out in DTS

    Oh well, all's well.....

    Let's hope so. :D

Are you decoding on-board or using AC3 pass-through? Sounds like the sound drivers decided you wanted down-mixing due to lack of on-board decoding.

    I'm using pass-through.

I just hope it stays working!
