I've got a DVD player with RGB Scart output and a 32" CRT TV with 1 RGB Scart Input. I want to make sure I'm carrying a proper RGB signal but I'm not sure if the scart cable i've got is fully RGB wired? Short of buying one that is - is there an easy way to tell?

    Thanks
    Marc

IF your DVD player has a setting in the set-up for output of S-video and RGB then you should be able to select RGB and get colour signal on your TV. If it is not fully wired (unlikely as scarts are either fully wired or RGB only) you'll either get no signal or a black and white one.

Some TV's tell you when RGB is enabled. Panasonic's seem good for this.
