    Hi
i have just installed a 6600gt using horazontal span to expand the desktop across 2 monitors. But when i maximize a movie in media player it will only play half of the image on one screen. is there a way to get it to play on both monitors.

    Cheers

Maximizing an application window locks it to one display. If you leave media player in a floating window and then drag the window across both display the movie should appear spanned across the two monitors.

no that dosent work either its still only shows in the monitor that the majority of the video is in. I have tried this on a radeon 9800 pro and a nvidia 6600gt and the problem is identical

Clone the displays in the driver before you watch it, could probably use a taskbar type app to switch between the two modes. (eg. ATI Hydravision)
