how can i make my pioneer 108 multi-region

    thought it'd be easy for a pc dvd but i've searched and can't find anything. the machine lets me change region 5 times, this'll probably be enough but just in case...

    It won't be enough. Have a look here, approx 3/4 way down the page. The Pio A08/108 firmware is there...

    Just download a program such as anydvd, no need for any firmware changes then- Altho you have to pay for anydvd so I would opt for DVD43 which is freeware and works flawlessly.

    Extra benefits of changing firmware are riplock removal, and a far wider range of 4x media being burned at 16x (eg Ritek G04, M02). Also, there is an interesting bitsetting firmware for the Pioneer 108 for +R DL, potentially widening compatibility.
