My tv is a Toshiba 40 inch rear projection model number 40pw13p, my tv can accept an RGB scart connection, is it possible to take advantage of this when connecting my xbox? I am using the standard core lead at the moment and its ok but could be better.

    Thanks for the reply.

Is that a special lead? Are they widely available?

Is it possible to use the lead you get with the premium system with an adapter to get the same results?

Nope the picture quality wouldnt be as good as rgb scart. If your tv doesnt have an rgb enabled scart socket then your method will work ok.

Unless your TV can accept a component signal through a scart socket (very few do) then no, you will have to buy a proper RGB Scart Cable or stay with composite which offers the worst possible picture quality.
