I'm about to install a samsung SP1604N hard drive in to my Amstrad Sky+
and I have heard you can only do Housekeeping once on disks over 120GB.

Is there a way round this. Surely it's quite important to be able to reformat
    every so often.

Also, can anyone tell me what the sky planner rebuild function is?

    Thanks in advance,

    T.

As far as I am aware this is not true, however if someone knows differently please feel free to correct me...

Are you having problems with a drive you have installed?

If you are, but can boot the system up, try using the relatively new option to do a personal planner rebuild rather than full housekeeping, sometimes this resolves issues without reformating and losing the info on your drive already.
