    Hi guys

Im going to be moving house soon and just wondered if anyone has any opinions on the following. I currently have, Sky, ADSL (2mb) and BT phone service.

The house Im moving is cabled with telewest. Is it worth setting up a new sky service, new ADSL and BT or should I go for one of the telewest packages (no idea on range of channels or pic quality)?

    Cheers

I would certainly consider TW's broadband service and thay are also going to release a high spec DVR/PVR later this year which might swing you towards their digital TV service as well.
Can't help with specifics, thanks to the franchise system imposed the a previous government if I want cable services I have to go with NTL :)

A couple of dedicated TW forums here and here.

For pricing TW will probably be cheaper than Sky + ADSL (though there are arguements that some channels are not available on TW which are included in the 'family package' for Sky)

I personnally have a big axe to grind against TW but excluding my issues with their customer service (or lack of it or compitence) I have had NTL, TW & Sky over the last 2 years and in my opinion Sky definately gave the best picture/sound quality and there is the current option of Sky+ and soon there will be Sky HD (though TW and NTL are working on new systems too)

many of my relatives have cable and the ONLY advantage is the cost.

the box's are slow, the picture is questionable, the menus are appalling, the are less features, give me a sky dish any day of the week!
