i heard there is a way to watch channels from hotbird and astra with one minidish in the uk.

My question is? Is it easy to do this? I am a newbie and only managed to fix the dish on Hotbird.

Is there a guide to install extra lnb on the manidish? Or does is it need specialist equipments and knowledge.

    Second question

at the moment i can only view Horizontal (H) channel. Why cant i view Vertical channels?

You need to give more information.

What satellite receiver are you using, and what size dish, and where are you in Europe ? Do you want to watch Astra at 19.2E or 28.2E ?

The short answer is that a twin-LNB arrangement won't work with a mini-dish if you want to watch Astra at 28.2E (which is where Sky digital is). You will need a much bigger dish, or some way of steering a single dish (like a motorised dish mount).
