So it was obviously only a matter of time but HT have increased the Ahrnohld figures with the inclusion of one from the latest Terminator film.

Hmm, I like it, HS looks very good from some angles, little bit off in others. All that attention to detail in the face, but his hands still look silky smooth! Devil's in the details

Hmmm... Not sure I want Arnie immortalised like this in my collection...
Not seeing the movie until next week, so I guess my opinion could potentially change. Not much in the way of accessories?

My thoughts on it are similar to yours. Perhaps he really does look much like this in the film so then it would be good but can't really marry the image of the Arnie I have in my head to what we have seen. Still, it's a prototype after all so many more months to get it right.

It's going to be weird for me watching Genisys next week, as I saw the original in the cinema last week, which is still just awesome.

    I think my priority should be a battle damaged T-800 and a DX13! ;)

Damn this weather making my eyes tired!

I was 9 when it came out- I had a bad dad who let me watch 18s when I was a young kid ( so long as it had monsters or robots in it) and it blew my mind when it came out on VHS. I'm kind of glad I never started on the Terminator stuff but there have been some excellent pieces come out over the years. Have you seen the Enterbay 1/4 Arnie from T2? That is a grail piece for me.

Yep, I remember watching Robocop on VHS when I was 8 or 9- that was true movie magic for me.

A few weekends ago I was giving the old Optimum T2 Blu Ray a test spin and ended up watching a good 10 minute chunk with my 7 year old- the sequence with the mall fight and subsequent lorry/bike chase. My wife was not impressed, but it was mostly 12A type stuff by today's standards and he loved it. Keeps going on about watching Predator now, but I've been forced to put my foot down on that one for the time being ;)

Yeah, I've seen the Enterbay bits, but that looks like a slippery slope...

I'm looking forward to showing my son the Terminator stuff when he's old enough. Must feel surreal showing your child films you watched as a young child.

I have 4 of their 1/4 scale pieces- Rambo, Batman Begins Batman, Joker and Robocop. As 1/4 scale stuff doesn't come out as often as the 1/6 figures, I can live with making a one off purchase every 6-12 months but yes, it is a road you shouldn't go down! :D

Ooh I do like that endo... Always fancied the 1/4 scale but it was 1/4 scale so never bothered. This looks great.
I've Just come back from seeing the film, think the reviews are being overly harsh (not that I've EVER listened to reviews) I thought it was very entertaining & had some cool ideas & visual style, Arnie was great & even Khaleesi was very good it's Not a patch on 1 & 2 which are bonafide classics, but it was never gonna be was it?

I see it getting flack on the Hot Toys fb page, but regardless of the quality of the film (which I haven't got round to watching yet), I actually like the changes they've done design wise so I'm very tempted by this release.

I can't remember the last time a figure came out that didn't get flack...The film itself, it was alright but my expectations were pretty low.
The figure looks great though, would definitely like to add it to my collection.

HS looks great. I haven't seen the film yet. I consider myself a terminator fan but only liked the first 2 so I've not felt compelled to see this.
