As tiny.com say all plasmas suffer this problem , can non-tiny plasma users
please post their panel manufacture and model number and state if they have this fault or not.

    thanks for any reply

i do hope tiny follow these threads since fishing is my other hobby and i have just posted a 'read before you buy thread ' on tiny plasma tv's on one of the main fishing forums

got to spread the word to try and save other poor soles (I know it should be souls - but fish/sole - get it  )

We have:- Pioneer 43 and 50 MXE, Panasonic 42PW7, PHD7, NEC XR3, Fujitsu VHA30, XHA50 none of which show shearing. Installed all of these, plus HDE and newer XDE Pioneers, NEC VP4s, likewise, no shearing.
Samjet lucky this is an internet forum, you'd be covered in beer if this was the pub.

Panasonic Viera TH-37PE30B - No horizontal shearing effects ever.

I must confess that even after reading descriptions on the other threads I am still confused at to what this issue actually looks like. I guess you have to see it to recognise it.

F plan..have now got my PW7 up and running and have the tiny set up in another room so can compare both panels easily! I assure you that the pw7 is streets ahead in all departments and categorically does not have a shearing problem on either sky or dvd.

Shame you can't take a digital photo of the two screens running side by side either running the same source or tuned to the same channel. Tiny would then be hard pushed to deny these problems exist.

Is it good enough to take one of those odd photos of proud fishermen with a large odd looking fish with it's mouth open in their arms? And Sam, please stop carping on about fish.

Thanks for the replies so far.

But can we please keep on topic, as a lot of Tiny plasma owners may have to refer to this thread in any complaint or action.

    Once again, thanks.

this situation is begining to look a little bleak - everyone is having a dab at me - if i was that sort of person i could be prawn into a bit of the ruffe stuff and i've got the mussels to prove it - but i'm not the crabby sort and in my sole i feel for the lesser winkles and though you parrot(Fish) on i have grown to like this forum and its pesky molluscs

    just take the bait

thanks very much for the good humour - having a whale of a time

i apologise for going :offtopic: but it was all meant in the best possible taste

you'd know if you had it mate...you can't miss it....some times its like a 'ripple' moving up or down the screen causing distortions and other times its like a picture cut in half and put back together without being lined up....if that makes sense :)
