    Hi all,

I sold my 42PW6 along with its tuner box to a friend. He connected a pioneer 545 dvd player via RGB SCART to one of the RGB SCART inputs of the tuner box. On certain scenes, the top 1/4 of the picture turns green (people's faces look like the incredible hulk). If we use the S-Video SCART tuner box input, this doesn't happen. We changed the SCART lead and we were still getting this green banding effect with RGB. The other RGB scart socket on the tuner box behaved in the same manner.

Fearing that the PW6 may have been damaged in transit, I took round my old Sony 905 DVD player, hooked it up to the same RGB SCART input with the same lead, and the problem disappeared!

We don't believe the pioneer player is in anyway defective, because it worked via RGB scart into a sony CRT fine!

Can anyone possibly offer an explanation of what is going on here?

    Regards,
    Ian
