Hooking up TV - Yamaha AMP - Oppo 103D - Pioneer DVD player

Hi Guys,
I need your expert advice on hooking up the below equipment that i have bought recently.

I am still very new to AV home cinema systems. So all the help I can get will be greatly appreciated.

This is what I have -
1) Samsung UA55JU600 TV - comes with 4 HDMI
2) Yamaha RXV 679 Amplifier - 1 HDMI Output, 6 HDMI Inputs
3) oppo 103D Blue Ray Player - 2 HDMI Output, 1 HDMI Input
4) Pioneer DVD player - 1 HDMI Output
5) Digital TV set-top Box - 1 HDMI Out

Aside, I have 5.1 surround speakers.

I am more looking to understand the HDMI connector sequence.

For starters, this is what i was actually planning:
1) Connect the Oppo 1st HDMI Out to HDMI TV IN
2) Connect the Oppo 2nd HDMI Out to Yahama HDMI IN
3) Connect the Pioneer DVD player to Oppo HDMI In
4) Connect the Yamaha HDMI Out to TV IN
5) Connect Digital Set-top box HDMI Out to TV In

Will this be the ideal set up? or is there a better way connect them?

Everything goes into the Yamaha and the Yamaha out into the TV.

Unless you have a specific reason not to?

Will there be any compromise on image quality by sending the Video signals via Yamaha as well?

I also have a raspberry pi openelec kodi. Is this better going via the oppo > yamaha > TV? just want to get any video upscale from Oppo that's all.

I'd be happy with everything going via the amp, you may want to ask in the oppo part of the forum and see how they feel? The oppo is the only device I may look at running to the TV separately.

I wouldn't run anything through the oppo though.
