Hooking up to my 42PX80

Need some advice on best way to hook my SD DVD player up to my 42PX80.

The player can output via Scart, Component and HDMI with the following options

Scart > RGB or Video
Component > Progressive or Interlace

HDMI Resolution >
720 x 576i
720 x 576p
1280 x 720p
1920 x 1080i
&
HDMI Colour >
Full Range RGB
RGB
Component

Which of the above options would you recommend for best picture quality
