Report back
Residents in south-east London might face disruption with their Freeview TV signals from next week, as testing of 4G signals gets underway.
Those living in the Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark and Tower Hamlets areas will be asked to report any problems encountered as up to 170,000 homes and businesses could face disruption.
The tests follow a similar trial held in the West Midlands, where only a very small number of problems were reported.
Simon Beresford-Wylie, CEO of at800, said: 'These larger tests are essential to help improve our forecast model and the way well tackle potential issues caused by 4G at 800 MHz. We are extremely grateful to viewers in south east London for their help with these important tests.'
The joint venture at800 has been fully funded by Britain's four operators in return for them winning 800MHz spectrum in this year's 4G auction.
