has anyone tried to fit a homecinema in a room 8foot wide and 10 foot long please help
What type of display will you be using? If it's a projector, you might get more help in the relevant forum.
its going to be a 42 inch plasma
I don't see any problems fitting the plasma into that size room, excpet it may appear a bit small on the wall Sound should be pretty good too providing you don't have the volume so loud that the audio is bouncing all over the place.
Have you considered something like a projector? It will give a bigger image than the pj, and look far more cinematice too. You could fit it on the ceiling and make a DIY screen for under £30. PJs can cost under £1000 for a good quality model - checkout the pj forum for more info. They're pretty easy to set-up - plug and play mostly, though you can tweak if you want.
