    Hi to everybody,

I have bought a philips 32pf9976 during 2005 and would like to complement it with a decent home theater system for around £ 700.

I have read many posts on the forum which i found particularly interesting and was thinking of the following satellite+sub set:

    satellite speakers: 4 x canton cd 10
    centre speakers: canton cd 50
    subwoofer: canton as80 sc

    A/V amp: denon 1906 or panasonic xr55eg

    What do you think?
Please take into account that my use is 80% movie and 20% music and that WAF matters...

    Thks in advance

    vincenzo

Hope the fact that no one replies means that you agree...which i am not surprised since i have made up my mind mostly on this forum which I find really well balanced (professional but not fanatic-only members)

Problem with speakers is that they can be very personal and what sounds pleasing to one person may be just the opposite to others. The obvious answer is to (if possible) listen to them and if you like the sound and the price is right, then buy them.
