Is it possible to cut a standard USB cable in half and wire it up to a USB cable that has motherboard header connectors on one end? The reason I ask is that my mobo has 1 USB header for 2 ports but that is being used by my card reader. My case has 2 front USB ports, but they have the mobo header type connection. What I want to do is wire up the front ports to a standard USB plug so I can plug them in spare USB connections on the back of my case. I have seen this but can't find them in the UK.

    Cheers

Cheers for that, eventually managed to find this , free international delivery as well. Can't believe they don't sell such a thing in the UK, I can't be the only one who'd find these useful.

    Cheers
