    Hi

I'm about to have my lounge re-plastered and I'm want a Component cable (3 core) embedded in the wall, and terminated at each end with nice wall plates (such as these:

They have solder tags on the back.

Now, I'm finding it very difficult indeed to find some Coax that is available by the meter. From what I know, Component leads require 75ohm coax. I just happen to have some pretty dammed good quality Aerial coax that is 75ohm, and I was thinking of trying that. The cable run would be about 10m end to end.

Does anyone have any experience of making such a lead?? I was expecting to find more on the internet about cable choice, especially given that at least one manufacturer makes wall plates.

    Any thought/opinions/advice much appreciated.

    John
