Home cinema speakers

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out what to buy for a home cinema system.

So far I have concluded to a Yamaha RX-V3800 receiver and for speakers either:

1. B&W MT30
or
2. KEF 5005.2

Of course, my choice on these two is mainly due to size constrains.
Do you know which of these two is best?

The Yamaha RX-V3800 can support 7.1 and also support two more sat speakers for presence. Am I going to get any better sound by adding 4 more sat speakers to the system?

My living room is about 50 square meters.

Thanks!

I would think you wont go wrong with either, best bet is to go and listen to them and see what you think.

I have the B&W M1s (same sats as in the MT30) and find them very good, they are very accurate and clear and on loud volumes are very impressive.
I would look at a diff sub personelly though as the sub is £1000 on its own. Although it has had good reviews I think you can get as good as if not better for less money.
I listened to one and although very good it didnt IMO offer £650 more than what I paid for my Velo
