home cinema soundproofing

    im planing on turning my living room into a home cinema the room itself is quite big so im splitting into 2 parts. the room the cinema is going in is 11 foot long 8 foot .wide the sofa will be on the back wall which needs to be soundproofed ,the proplem is do i use resilent channel i have heard mixed reviews so i dont know what to do. also im going to fit a 42 inch plasma and a projector do you think the room will be too small and will bass traps be alright for behind the sofa. thanks

    will let others more knowledgeable comment on the soundproofing, as for bass traps, dont forget to check the powerbuys.....the standard version can be placed anywhere and the corner units in a corner..lol
