Hi, I want to ask a few questions for those people who have made there own cinema screen with a black border as Im looking at doing my own and wonder if its worth it?
1) What materials do you use for the border?
2) How do you get the border so it looks like a tiody job without overlapping at the corners? (If that make sense)
3) The biggest issue I cant work out is weather to do the screen widescreen or square shaped? The projector (HD26) plays films in widescreen but the majority of images I have seen for DIY cinema screens they are more square shaped, is this because its not always widescreen i.e. switching for a blue ray film (widescreen) to a XBOX/PC? I would rather not have any white bits showing as itl be distracting.
4) Which is easier mounting the projector first and making screen to fit or vice versa?
Thanks
