Home cinema projector, around £1k budget

Hi folks,
I'm wanting a new projector and need help narrowing down the field a little!

So far I've come to a few conclusions:
- I'd like to avoid DLP because of the rainbow effect which have tended to notice in the past.
- budget: around £1k, preferably less
- resolution: non-DLP 4k is out of budget, so probably full HD/WUXGA?
- projector will be ceiling mounted 3.5m from ~160cm screen
- hence need about 2:1 throw ratio.
- relatively dimly lit room, ~2000 lumens should probably do it.
- only really watch occasional DVDs.
- Need to solve the audio issue, but that's for another thread...

There seems to be so much choice and it's difficult to differentiate them, so what would you recommend? Was wondering about the Epson TW5650?
