    Thanks Semiskimmed.

Sorry I missed the post. I've been a tad busy recently, but if you want to ask any queations about my 'conversion', then feel free to fire away.

Mine was done on the cheap, and isn't an expensive conversion by any means, but if you can afford to go the whole hog, there are some other proper conversions that forum members have done.

    Gary.

Mine is nothing special - but here you go. Have changed from a laptop to a dedicated HCPC since and had a bit of a tidy up. I love it, but it a'int going to win any prizes!!

    Cheers

You need to take the 'geoff@' out of that url for it to work but when it does that is one mighty fine conversion :smashin:

Pictures as promised, I went for an install that had all the kit hidden.

I am actually moving out at the end of this month and will be very, very sad to leave this place :(

    GIZLAROC:

Saw your room over at ntsc-uk about a year ago I think.
    Thanks a lot.
Now my bank account is down to the tune of seven big ones and it's all your fault.

Even now, after seeing many setups, I still like the look of your room, but where's the door / hatch?

Wow Gizarloc that is some place, and to think you are leaving it. I really hope when my cellar is converted it looks as good. Like the colour scheme to.

Thanks, yeah I am going to miss it.

I am standing in the doorway when I took the second picture, I went with a proper staircase in the end, and really pleased I did, when we advertised the house we could advertise it with a another bedroom rather than loft space.
Although it cost us another £3k to put the stairs in we ended up making £95,000 in 18 months which I am sure would have been around half if we had gone for just a hatch so it turned out to be money well spent.
