im close to selling my old system now, i was originally planning to get the sony davsb300 the home cinema kit and iv recently been fishing around and researching etc and came accross the HTDDW860 6.1 reciever package which comes with the speakers and a sub, so im wondering what would be the best option? im getting a feeling that the HTDDW860 may be the better option..

Best bet in the long run is a seperate amp and speaker system. Makes it far more easier in the future to upgrade either or. You may think you won't upgrade for a while but believe me, it will happen. I bought my first amp and speaker set up less than a year ago and have upgraded all my speakers already.
