On my 2nd Sony 44PS2 and I am far from happy from the build quality. The first one had a crease on the matt screen as well has scratches and grazes on the casing. Didn't look like transit damage as the outer and inner packaing were fine.

Replacement set arrive today and again it has marks on the matt screen and also foreing particles between the matt screen and outer anti-reflective screen. Also a dent on the frame which looks a moulding problem. The TV was purchased from Empire Direct.

Am I just an unlucky so and so or have other people had similar problems?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

A one inch hair between screens, one third from bottom on left, otherwise OK. Auto Convergence works well. Was incorrect on unpacking.
Set was collected and replaced straight away as expected by local independent dealer.
    Not my tv, ( relative).

My first one would not play NTSC.
My second seems fine.Geometry, convergence all very good.
I don't trust the auto convergence though.
