Holga lens for £12.54 for Canon and Nikon DSLR

Thought I would share with everyone (this is not spam / promotion!) a new lens I just got:

New Original Holga Lens HL-C for Canon EOS EF DSLR Lomo on eBay (end time 09-Dec-10 01:36:05 GMT)

Not bad for the price! Just gotta wait 10-15 days for it to arrive from Hong Kong!

Going to be interesting to see what its like on a 5d mark II

As there doesnt seem to be one I also created a group on flickr if anyone here buys one and gives it a go:

The lens is has lots of issues including display vignetting, blur, light leaks, and other distortions (great!).

Heck mark - I don't need a special lens for that - perhaps that's why I couldn't see a Sony version

And people were complaining the Nikon 28-300mm was too poor a lens to be mounting on a D700...

Looks like it's manual focus only and f8 - so not much use to most EOS users.

eh, i think using a holga lens on a digital camera is a bit pointless, with an actual holga you can put out of date film in a camera with no light seals and cross process it if you want to, if you use 35mm you have rachet wholes in your photo which all adds to the effect i guess. but with digital the only thing you are going to have is soft images with a fair bit of CA.
