Yep, same old stuff. Great if you're just starting out with your DVD collection but for the most of us, same old stuff that just can't seem to shift.

One day they MIGHT include some current 'chart DVDs' in their 'sales'

    :thumbsdow

Instore at the Oxford St branch they had the James Cagney Collection for £20 - haven't done a price comparison online, but doubt you will get it cheaper.

Nothing else though - same old, same old.

and a fair few more. Cheap compared to HMV normally but really same kind of prices that you can get online.

    Ghostbusters 1:
    2.35:1 - 5.1
    1hr 41min
Animated menus & Heaps of special features!
    2004 release.

    Ghostbusters 2:
    2.35:1 - 5.1
    1hr 48min
    Only trailer & filmographies.
    2005 release.

Both do not have any inlay notes, etc. (Is this a new trend? As I've noticed that many cheap dvd's don't have any inlay notes, not even a scene index listing. Even my R3 Constantine from cd-wow had nothing but the two discs. )

I've never ever used the daft chapter insert, can't see that many people would ever even look at it. Hence studios don't bother with them these days.

well i went to hmv today and ended up coming home with 5 dvds, Ghostbusters, Army of Darkness, Secretary, House of 1000 corpses and Zombie Flesh Eaters, but i think i'm going to go back tomorrow and return the latter three, as i didn't realise there were actually dd5.1/dts versions of them available.

In store I picked up Straight Story £2.99, Blithe Spirit £2.99 and Big Fish £4.99 and a bunch of CD's

They gave me a £5 off £35+ spend in the sale and another one that's valid in August - not sure what minumum spend is as I spent >£60 in the end.
