    Hi there,

I hope that someone will answer a hopeless newbie question. I've just received a TV, that can manage prog. scan and I also have a Kiss DP-1500. If I want to use the prog. scan from the DVD, what connections can I use? Can I use the RGB scart from the DVD to the TV?

The TV's manual should tell you the connection types that it can accept progressive on. Not sure about the DP-1500, I have a DP-450 and component is available on the SCART connector via component but you need a special cable to get at it. If you don't get any help here, KiSS players aren't too common, then you may get more help on KiSS' forum

You wont be able to use RGB scart, there are a couple of TVs that do component via scart but they are unusual and require different cabling.

The majority require seperate component cables to link the DVD & TV but as KraGorn says it will depend on your equipment.
