    To Create The Patch CD
Click on the 'dvd25_upgrade' icon above to download the ZIP file.
Unzip the file, creating two .bin files: 'hkdvd25.bin' and 'dvd25_2.bin'.
Using 1 x copy speed, burn the files on a CD-ROM in a folder called hk_dvd25.
    To Run The Patch CD
Connect DVD via Composite connection to a video monitor (TV, Plasma, Projector etc.)
    Empty DVD tray
    Switch DVD to STANDBY
Point remote handset at DVD and press the 'CLEAR' button, after 5-7 sec. the DVD will switch to 'ON'
Place upgrade CD-ROM in tray and close tray
    Follow instruction on screen
When upgrade process is complete the DVD will switch itself to 'STANDBY'
Point remote handset at DVD and press the 'CLEAR' button, after 5-7 sec. the DVD will switch to 'ON'
Open tray and remove CD-ROM disc
    The upgrade is complete

    hope this helps
bought mine ready done but my mate followed the above and his worked fine :)

Thanks for the reply, the trouble I have with this method is the "follow the onscreen instructions" step, all I get is "mp3 player" and a couple of other words that I dont seem to be able to do much with!Do you think the disc is faulty.I followed the instructions to the letter!
