    Hi All,

I'm looking at a SH HK 8500, are these amps any good? How would they compare to a Denon KAVA1SE (i.e. upgraded a1se)?

    Cheers

from what i read on the forums they seem to be first class, well they were HK's flagship Amp.
I was thinking of getting one before I upgraded to my Onkyo 989 but the fact that it was only 5.1 (can do 7.1 with a extra 2 ch amp) made me go for the 989.

both Smufin and Adz's used to own the 8500 and maybe they will be able to give abit more insight.
