    Upgrade can be dowloaded from:
    http://www.harmankardon.com/product...d=AVR 430&Country=US&Language=ENG&Region=USA#

    Main improvements:
    - The addition of Dolby® Pro Logic IIx® processing with complete parameter adjustment.
    - Additional control over digital input auto-polling.
    - Significant reduction of surround mode sense and acquisition time.

Upgrade is available only from USA support pages and has to be verified if it is compatible with UK/EU models.

A Euro Version is imminent apparently (according to posts at AVS Forum) so I'll wait until that appears before updating my Dad's HK630. :)

The fact that the HK's are upgradeable is great, other manufacturers should take note

Yes. Does annoy me when it's been said that PLIIx won't be available as an upgrade for my current Denon KA1SE as it's not "technically possible". Considering the A1SR has the same digital board and that gets PLIIx I find it very hard to believe the KA1SE can't be done as well. It's not exactly short of processing power!
