Can anyone tell me the hack for multi-region on the HK25, I found one on here that I tried but it doesn't seem to work?
Has anyone got it to work?

Also any tips for getting the most out of this DVD player - I am using it through component to my PV500 plasma, letting the plasma do the progressive.

    Thanks

    Mal

Is this the one you tried?
It says in the instructions that you should burn the upgrade CD with 1x speed. This can be a problem with today's PC hardware - I can burn CD-R with minimum 4x and CD-RW minimum 8x speeds with my PC.
I just flashed my DV-575A today - burned the CD with 4x speed, "Disc-at-once" method and finalized the CD.
